On August 22, the Western Diocese Armenian Church Ladies Auxiliary hosted an elegant luncheon welcoming the prospective 2027 Debutantes and their mothers. The afternoon offered a warm and inviting atmosphere where curiosity met excitement, marking the first step in each young woman’s debutante journey.

The girls were seated together at one table, and the connection was immediate. Laughter, lively conversation, and shared anticipation filled the room as they spoke about their hopes for the year ahead. By the end of lunch, their bond had already begun to flourish.

At separate tables, the mothers engaged in thoughtful conversations with members of the Ladies Auxiliary. Committee members answered questions, eased concerns, and offered guidance with grace and warmth. The luncheon featured crisp salads topped with grilled chicken or salmon, followed by a decadent lemon tart.

Before lunch was served, Audrey Matoesian introduced herself and invited each committee member to do the same. Several chairpersons shared details about their roles, offering helpful information ranging from dress code guidelines to rehearsal schedules. Guests left feeling well-prepared, carrying handbooks filled with essential details and hearts full of excitement for the 2027 Debutante Ball.

This delightful afternoon not only provided clarity but also fostered a strong sense of community. The countdown to 2027 has officially begun, and if the energy from this luncheon is any indication, the upcoming Debutante Ball will be a dazzling celebration filled with joy, elegance, and unforgettable memories.
